Looking Ahead
Monday, 31 January 2011 19:52
Regular readers have noticed that there hasn't been a new article in a few weeks. Fear not -- we're currently working on an extensive history of the Australian Ford Falcon, made famous by the Mad Max movies. This is probably the most ambitious piece we've done to date, covering a lot of heretofore unknown territory (literally!). We think it'll be well worth waiting for, so watch this space, or check our Facebook page for updates.

  • darms  - I am certain your next article will be interesting

... but will it be relevant? I want to know more about Cord, about Hupmobile, about Studebaker pickups (and sedan delivery vehicles in general) and you can include Willys & early English Fords in that request as well.

  • greasydave  - sounds great!

Just saw the excellent movie Love the Beast that was all about an obsession with the Aussie Falcon. Can't wait to get the scoop!!

  • phoenix00  - One word....

YES going back two generations or so this has been Ford's best-kept secret, at least Over Upper.

darms this is probably my fault as after reading the comments in the US Falcon story I volunteered to send Aaron some photos etc on the Australian car.

I agree there is a huge number of vehicles it would be great to see the AUWM treatment on!

Here's a photo of an Australian Falcon in not very good condition (wrapped around a tree).
